IR Reomote library

Usage

You need a IR receiving breakout to detect the IR signal and decodes it as HEX code, then dispaly it on the serial monitor.

 S  -> D11
VCC -> 5V
GND -> GND
When you press any button on the remote control, serial monitor shows the hexadecimal code of that button.Every button on the remote control has a corresponding hexadecimal code.

Example code

#include <IRremote.h>
int RECV_PIN = 11; //define input pin on Arduino
IRrecv irrecv(RECV_PIN);
decode_results results;
void setup()
{
Serial.begin(9600);
irrecv.enableIRIn(); // Start the receiver
}
void loop() {
if (irrecv.decode(&results)) {
  Serial.println(results.value, HEX);
  irrecv.resume(); // Receive the next value
}
}
