This past Thursday I told my spouse that I wanted to part ways. I've moved to the guest room. We had a fairly rough few days after I told him but have managed to recover and operate well between each other for the kids.

But now come the emotions. The random stuff with wanting to tell something stupid or just watching the kids play and thinking about our marriage. he's been somewhat mentally abusive and that was the impetus behind asking for at least a separation after 2.5 years of dealing with it.
