Is the A30m good to buy?

Hi,
I've been researching and found this forum so I'll ask here, should I get a A30m or should I go with another company 3d printer? I ask because after reading the forms here how the printer doesn't work correctly and how people are getting refurb as new devices has gotten me worried.
Also, I would like to connect a rasberri pi to this printer but there is nothing on how to do this. Can some please tell me how do we do this?
