converting printer from a 12v system to a 24v one

Hi!
Im thinking to converting my printer from a 12v system to a 24v one.
Now im using 12v fan for the hotend and the part cooling fan, can i keep those or i need to replace with the 24v variant?
in the manual i found this:

I think you should sync it because your system is 24v jigsaw puzzle

I rebuild my old geeetech printer and using a 24volt powersupply.

But in this post you can see the problem i had with this:

So I would recommend when using a 24 volt powersupply: Directly change all fans to 24volts ones!
