Hi i am new to 3D printing but just got my first printer. I successfully printed a dog which turned out fine, now im trying a second print it starts off ok then after a few seconds it stops extruding the filament and i noticed the heat rapidly going down (I assume this is why it stops printing). The extruder still moves as if it's printing but the filament stops coming out. Any ideas as to what is causing the extruder to rapidly lose heat? I am completely new to this so any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
Linda

Hi, I had a similar problem .. i fixed it by re-soldering the whole print head board as i had a number of dry joints.
i also recommend getting some heatsink to feed cabling through to protect them.
