GT2560 V4.0 schematics and pins TMC2208 UART

Post by andy1988 » Thu Apr 23, 2020 8:41 pm

Hi,
I have installed TMC 2208 in STANDALONE mode for E0, X, and Y.
The problem occurs in extruder only with skipping steps at moderate speeds. So I would like to at least one or two (I have 3) extruders in UART mode.
Apparently nobody did it before me... or? Please help!

What I would appreciate is good schematics (better than already posted) and pins_GT2560_V4.0.h file which is not available anywhere.

Now maybe somebody can help me with the picture below.
I marked in red pins that are not occupied on my board. The green circle shows even pins labeled UART.
I am not using filament runout much so I can sacrifice those.
I am using 3D Touch so I don't need Z limit switch.
I am using 3D Touch but pins on board are somehow free anyway.

Hi William,

you posted these schematics before and there are no very helpful, there are just not detailed enough.

Where can I find detailed schematics for GT2560 V4.0?
and
Whare can I find pin assignment (pins_GT2560_V4.0.h file) for GT2560 V4.0?

Cheers
Andrzej

hi,

How long and why do we need to wait for it?

What about Marlin 2.0? I am not very hopeful because even for old Marlin there is no profile published. I have to rely on Marlin 1.1.8 hex file which sucks because I can not do any modifications.

There is some example profile for A10T but they are simply A10M modified profile with wrong motherboard GT2560_V3 instead of GT2560_V4 and surprise E1 and E2 are not working!

I will warn everybody from geeetech!

Sorry, we also have rules and regulations, all have plans, we will definitely announce it, it will take some time, if you want to use TMC2208, you can use the normal mode

You can try to reverse the direction of motor rotation by swapping the motor wire sequence

Hello, is the fans use PWM on version four, and how to select and adjust them in Markin?
