Board failure on x axis and z axis sticking

Post by dentonj87 » Sat Jan 04, 2020 10:56 pm

Hi, just built I30 following instructions carefully - 10 hours!!! however, I have just tried to use the printer and tested all parts but the X motor doesn't function at all and the z motor keeps jerking and jarring not moving smoothly. Any tips.

I tried to change the x axis to seconded extruded motor, but have failed spectacularly in working out which settings to even change.

Any advice, particularly for x issue would be fantastic.

Thanks

:D Hi, 1. You can check if there is a driver board on the x-axis motor end on the motherboard;
2. If the x-axis motor cannot move, you can exchange the normally-moving motor end wiring with the x-axis motor wire;
3. You can check whether the z-axis threaded rod is bent;
4. You can check whether the brass nut is too tight and can be adjusted appropriately;
5. Is the coupling installed correctly?
6. Whether the left and right z-axis are at the same horizontal line.
