Hello,
I am trying to make a pellet extruder mounted on the printer head. So, I am planning to use a giant stepper with very high torque (like this one: https://www.amazon.ca/1841oz-Torque-Ste ... B00PNEQ3XQ). I am thinking if I can use it as an extruder (E0) with any of the Geeetech printer? The motor draws 5 A current whereas I think most motor driver (like A4988)ha a max rating of 2A. Will that be a problem? Can I overcome by using extra cooling? Does anybody has any suggestion, how can I synchronize such giant stepper with an existing 3D printer like A10? Thank you.
