Hello
My extruder started showing -14 on the hot end and before that it was literally boilling. After testing and searching i found out that the thermistor resistor for extruder was not 4.7 kohm like the others. For some reason the value was 310 Ohm. i guess that changing it will solve the problem.
My question is if it is worth swapping it with a 1 kohm one since i read at marlin that "1k ohm pullup tables - This is atypical, and requires changing out the 4.7k pullup for 1k. (but gives greater accuracy and more stable PID)???
Anyone tried it and seen any difference or stick with the stock values ?
My board is a gt2560 revA

Hi, I think you can swap the extruder driver with a good driver. Then check if extruder can work well or not.
And I hope this can help you :http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 13&t=17097
