Hello.
:mrgreen:

The forum is active, but the owners of some printers models does not have a lively discussion. :?

It's a little pity.
On the forum I help to use the rod, I don't give fish.
Geeetech Prusa I3 M201 Dual extruder Mixcolor 3D printer, bought 2017-12-19, already built, in the cognitive and improvement phase

I think you should check these:
1.The belt is tight or not
2.The rod is smooth or not(You can try to add the oil for it)
3.If it allows,we suggest you check the vref of the a4988
It should be the 0.8~1.2V for G2S printer.(You need to use the multimeter to check it)

Thanks guys.

i replaced the drivers for all axis motors and it seemed to fix it, now i have layer shifting problems but i didn't hear the motor skip like before, i stopped trying to fix it for now and i used the extruders to try to fix another machine, a ROBO 3D so i'll pause this until i buy a couple of extruders and update the post when it's done, i was tinking about extending the Z rods to get a taller printable area but that's a proyect for another day.

I have bougth a used G2 pro, and have some belt slipping issues also. I have tried increasing the voltage to 1,0-1,1v on the drives, measured on GRD and the adjustments screw (some forums suggest negative elsewhere, but I my reading is from GRD on the actual board).
This sorted the Z axis. And i got a couple of good prints. Now my Y axis is slipping and i have the voltage described above, have used a litte WD40 oil on the axis (all three) -but cant seem to fix it.

Since this machine has printed a lot before, there is a little were on the bearings on the arms. Not much, but when wiggeling them I can feel just a little slack. Did'nt find them as spares on your homepage..
I suspect that this little slack is causing the problem when I print and the nozzle is moving a lot backwards/forwards, but I dont know.

Any ideas :cry:

Hi, If you are referring to a loose belt, you need to make appropriate adjustments.

thx for swift reply, William.

No, its not loose. It just 'skipping' when printing.
it starts off fine. Good first layers. Then when printing you can hear a slight 'tick' noise. Its like its skippes a step. Then you see the print is failing, with the Y axis down one-two steps more then the others and the print gets a shift away from the Y axis by 1mm. This happens 4 times before the build is 10mm high (and I abort)

:D Hi, are you referring to the stepping motor stepping that causes this to happen?
Can you provide your print picture or print a video when something goes wrong?

Picture is take from the front (over the LCD screen). So you see the movement away from the Y-axis. This is a mechanical fault of some kind, not the slicing or drawing.

If I print a small dice, aprox. 2x2x2 cm in center it is ok. but when I print any other figure that has a larger print surfice, this happens.

Hi, you can check if the card is issued and can be lubricated for lubrication;
The printing speed is adjusted to 30-60mm/s;
Driver board voltage range: 0.8-1.2V.
