My printer has started underextruding badly, skipping steps even when it is lifted off the bed.
THings I have tried:
Replaced extruder with the Geetech Aluminium one.
Replaced PTFE tubing
Replaced nozzle
Checked the vRef on the stepper driver which shows .55V
I've tried updating the firmware but no matter how many times it says the firmware update is succesful, iut keeps saying it has the original firmware (1.36.56)
I tried checking the e-steps using the Smartto motor tool but it errors out after reading x_steps and any successive attempts to get data just gives a timeout error.
Anyone have any suggestions?
A30 Underextuding
Re: A30 Underextuding
Fixed the problem, the PTFE tubing I had bought was ever so slightly thicker than the original tubing and wasn't going all the way down the throat of the heater causing the nozzle to clog. Put the old PTFE back in and everything is good.
