New method of choosing a 3D printer– The Mainboard in the A10 (GT2560)

I agree, most of us don't pay attention to the board that drives a 3D printer when making a choice. I have a MicroCenter dual that could be a decent printer; but, the control board is just plain terrible. And, to make matters worse, the company that supplies the printer to MicroCenter decided to change the firmware to be unique to this model. The end result is a poor printer.

On the other hand, the latest printers I've purchased have had a Maestro board or the GT2560 V3.0. Both boards do a great job in their respective printers.

So, I whole heartedly agree with your advice.
