(24VPSU)Geeetech A30 work with TMC2208

Attention: This firmware is the beta version, you can choose upload it to your printer or not.




Check you firmware is the V1.36.57 at first.Then you can upload it.

1.Install the TMC2208
You need to check the pin of it correct then remove the microstep jumper cap (MS3)off
Then install it into the driver board port.

2. Adjust the vref of the TMC2208 until the motor won't overheat or can't get enough power from it.




3.Upload the firmware for the (24VPSU)Geeetech A30
A30_APP_S_V1_58.zip

4.Restart the printer




5.Use the motor kit to change the direction of the motor

The following are the projects we have tested:
24V PSU A30 with the firmware .58
1.X axis move and homing---normal
2.Y axis move and homing---normal
3.Z axis move and homing---normal
4.Extruder motor move -------normal
5.Heating and then print------normal(Print via sd card/USB)


The following are the items we have not tested yet:
1.NPN sensor enable
2.Bl/3dtouch sensor enable
3.Break-resume
4.Print via wifi box

What would be the difference if you are upgrading A10M with new GT2560 v4 using tcm2209 step drivers?

Thanks for any help you can give me with this!
