Centering A10 Printer

Post by Tyrant » Sat Aug 25, 2018 7:37 pm

Hi , Just received and completed putting together the A10. Starting a first test print and the printer is well off center. Can anyone advise the best way to ensure prints always start centrally ?

Thanks in Advance.

Hello :)

First, check the size of the heatbed please.
The printer will be selling with a 220x220 bed and optional you can sell a 230x230 bed.

My own presale A10 using a 230x230 heatbed.
I made my own firmware to correct the size into the Marlin firmware, this is the only way to do it!

You found them into my footer.

(Update) I'ved made a mistake, you can set correction values into Cura to setup the bed. :ugeek:

Hi

Slicer software manages the position of the model.

If you have verified the printer's parameters correctly, you can control the starting position at which you want the printing process to start.

thanks for the quick response, i'm a total noob when it comes to 3d printing. How do i go about verifying the parameters ?
i'm using CURA , latest version for printing.

Oh and measured the Bed , 224x224

just to add a bit more to this. when i begin a print the heat bed moves backward to the very end of the rail , rattles about a bit , and same goes for the nozzle before it starts printing . is that normal?
