Hi, "max tried" would caused by many reasons. I need more details about it:
1. tool version & firmware version
2. How about upgrading mainboard? Is it normal?

Hi alex-w

I worked it out late last night
My issue was I didn't have a SD card in the side of the printer when flashing the firmware

Wait what? I don't understand how you fixed this problem. Mine is currently doing the same thing after making the new firmware in Visual Code then uploading the .hex to the printer through Cura. Now any time I connect the USB to the computer the printer will restart, wait like 0.5-10sec, then restart again. This cycle continues till the USB is unplugged and I turn the power supply off. When I turn it back on it works alright and can print files saved to the SD Card.

Help!
