Black boxes in LCD screen (prusa i3 Pro-C)

Post by Pate » Wed Oct 12, 2016 4:12 pm

First of all sorry if this is in wrong place or there is a thread already about this...
But I bought a pro c few months ago and it was printing nicely and working really good. Until now. Now when i turn the printer on the lcd-screen shows only two rows of black boxes. I cant control the printer and the motors are locked in place. I tried to upload new firmware and the usb led was blinking. Any ideas what could be wrong? I really hope my GT2560 isnt broken. But i think there is something wrong in firmware

Did you download the firmware for Pro C from here:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=17046
And can the board be detected by computer?What errors appeared in Arduino?Attach some photos plz.
PS.You can measure the voltage between the pin on two sides(see the picture) and GND separately with a multimeter,and tell the value.

When i plug the printers usb cable to my computer i can hear the sound, and i can see that its on COM3. When i click properties it says that its working correctly.
When i use arduino 1.0.6 it gives me this error message:

Binary sketch size: 119 940 bytes (of a 258 048 byte maximum)
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_getsync(): timeout communicating with programmer

I tried to use that firmware but arduino is giving me same error message.
I dont have multimeter right now but i can try to get one later. Thanks for quick response :)
