Z axix Problem

Hi
New to the forum. Can anyone tell me how to stop the right side z axis motor advancing ahead of the left motor? They both move at the same time. It's just that the right side turns slightly more than the left. After print for a while, the carriage is no longer level.

You should make sure you've leveled the two sides before you move Z axis.
If it still doesn't fix it,you can swap the Z driver A4988 with one of other axis.

I spent a long time on bed levelling and got it perfect. I swapped the driver as you suggested but there was no difference. I decided to swap the stepper motor with the Y axis motor but just as I unbolted the z motor I noticed that the threaded shaft was not in line with the motor shaft. I found that if you tension the x axis belt, you pull the rods inwards. To fix the problem, I moved the locking rings on the lower x axis bearing rod, to the inside after lining everything up. The end result was a much smoother printer and nothing out of line anymore.

I have started to put together 2 gt pulleys and put them on the top of the z axis screws and join the two screws together with a gt2 belt and bearings with housings to hold them in the correct alignment and only run 1 stepper motor to drive both screws and hopefully stop the creep between the 2 screws which is the biggest contributor to have to level so often
