So it's all built. Troubleshot a few mechanical issues already and now I'm ready to transition to software and ideally, calibration and testing printing.
But there are gaps I can't cross. Please help.
Specifically: now that it's all constructed. I followed the instructions and connected via USB. Using the desktop Repetier software I can see all the controls, played with Slic3r, etc.
But I don't know how to set up the machine; where to have the print head at start of operations. How to set home? In the manual controls in Repetier I can only move the print head so far along certain axes - and its clear the software thinks the head is somewhere it isnt.
I'm confident I can calibrate with the paper technique - if I can get past what I need to physically do to the machine to set up home position.
Hope this all makes sense.
