X Axis problem

Post by m.nowak » Sun Dec 20, 2015 8:23 pm

Hello!

I have searched but can´t find the answer and solution to my problem so hoping you can help me out.

I bought a GEEETech i3 proB and I have had some troubles with it. The biggest problem for me is that the X-axis has got problems moving sometimes and therefore the belt jumps over a couple of teeth on the motor. I have tried solving this by adjusting the belt tension (works best with almost no tension at all) and by lubing the rods with lithium grease, WD40 and some other things.

When pulling the X-axis by hand I can feel there is friction on both ends, about 50mm of friction on both sides.

Anyone who has got the same problem or knows of a way to solve this problem?

Best regards.

maybe your rods are bending, you can check it.

I think my rods are bent, x-axis move smoothly in the middle area but it is hard to move it the last 25% right and 25% left. So I will buy new rods and bearings and try if works :)
