firmware max endstops on i3, loading filament

Post by paulwhy » Wed Jan 21, 2015 10:09 am

I bought an Unassembled-Full Acrylic Quality High Precision Prusa Mendel I3 SKU:DPP-06638 with Arduio Mega, Ramps 1.4 and A4988. I have it assembled and it mostly works.

The Maximum endstops are not disabled in the firmware. Please send new firmware with the maximum endstops disabled. Or send me the firmware you installed and I will modify it and re-install it.

Also i have trouble loading the filament. It will not go down all the way into the nozzle. it gets caught between the stepper gear and the top of the threaded pipe to the nozzle. Is there a trick for getting it to go into the nozzle properly?

Hi paulwhy,
We had uploaded the firmware for you and it's unnecessary for you to upload the firmware again.
I'm not sure if you assemble endstops correctly, Please send a photo to our customer serve or leave you Skype ID on this page.
If necessary, we may support you online.
