Please help, I just started with the sim900 breakout board. I am confused by the instructions on the wiki. It says if I want to use software to power up the module, that I must solder “JP”. I cannot find anything labeled JP. I suspect it is referring to the Arduino, but don’t know. Please tell me where to find JP. I am not using an Arduino, I am using a Parallax propeller Micon.
Thank you
Larry

Re: software power the sim900 module
thanks for youe post when you have problem.
The JP is in the upper leave corner of the SIM900.
You have better to switch it on with hardware.
Switch it on with software after pass the test.
Any other problem, just feel free to let us know.
