Power Outage
Re: Power Outage
You can be calm, we will heal the situation.
You will be able to use a printer
However, your case is very peculiar.
And it doesn't give me peace of mind.
Tell me if you are sure that you didn't make any mistake during the assembly.
In the meantime I will prepare for you a description of how to make a small modification.
On the forum I help to use the rod, I don't give fish.

I'll also ask you to post a photo with a view of how you've connected all the wires, not just the power supply.

Re: Power Outage
The weird thing is as I mentioned in December. I used to be able to connect USB and Power, I was updating the firmware with the EasyPrinter 3D Desktop App and suddenly the Power Outage began since then.(As seen in the video)_kaktus_ wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 5:09 pm

I‘m fairly certain that I‘ve wired everything correctly to Rev A+. However I‘ll still post some pictures.
I‘ll gladly try anything!
Re: Power Outage
I am still interested in various things:
In the electrical system of the controller it is very important that the GND potential has no connection to the protective ground of the electrical power line (PE).
- do you have differential current protection in your home installation?
- whether you connect your computer and printer to the same electrical outlet,
- whether your electrical installation is based on three wires (phase, zero, PE).

Re: Power Outage
I also have a request to do one experiment.
It will be a bit of work.
I will ask you to remove the controller board.
Place it on the table in a safe place, connect only the power supply and the operator panel (LCD module).
Switch on the power supply, in both variants as you did on your movie.

Re: Power Outage
Everything is ok, don't worry. You aren't frustrating.
I expect that everything will be correct, otherwise the light would go out earlier. Immediately after switching on the printer power supply.
I'm also interested in whether your computer has an active USB power function even when it's turned off.
The easiest way to do this is with a multimeter with a cable continuity test function.
