X-axis jumping -- 1 year later and STILL not working!!
Re: X-axis jumping -- 1 year later and STILL not working!!
Geetech Prusa I3 Pro B - I have the same problem with the printer jumping and stopping, only now the power supply light, LCD screen and fans are all flashing and the printer is not working. Pity because I only finished building the printer last night and was looking forward to first print.

No, my problem has not been resolved.
I have tried all they have told me, I have replaced the motor drivers. But as I explain, this is clearly a board issue.
This is the worst product I have ever purchased, it was problem after problem and so much of my time wasted away. I have not been able to produce a single print out of this 3D printer.
When I have contacted their engineers they have no idea what is wrong and they treat me like I am an idiot. One even said here on the forums that my house was haunted. Then I proceeded to demonstrate their issue with a warped acrylic bed. Now they offer aluminum beds. It has been a painful experience having to do their engineering for them.
They tell me I could purchase another board, but I am not willing to spend more money on this thing. Its a waste of money and time. I really wanted this to work. It looked promising.
I hope you have better luck.

I am new to 3D printing but old to CNC
I was having this JUMPING problem with my X axis.
You can induce this problem by having the drive belt too tight.
So I experimented with that - no fix.
I wrote a bit of Gcode to move the axes in small steps - still worked OK so.....?
Could my first test print have the fast traverse feed rate set too high at F7800 you bet I repaced all of the F7800 with F4000 worked a treat!
I am now taking a bow.
