many problems
Hello
I contact you following the purchase of 2 geeetech a20m, I see 2 big problem:
- on some print it stops during printing and displays "heating done"
- sometimes it takes 5 minutes to throw and sometimes I wait for 20minutes even if the nozzle and the bed are hot.
I must do what to stop his problem. this is not a coincidence if these 2 bug do it on the 2 machines, there is a patch to do on merlin? a problem when editing the card?
Thanks for your feedback

Re: many problems
Hi, you can try to measure the thermistor resistance on the driver board. Maybe the thermistor is short-circuited. Do you mean that the printed model cannot be removed?
-Keep your mind and try to test it.

Re: many problems
The thermistor must be good since the problem comes from the 2 machines. It runs correctly but it has already stopped a print in the middle (as if there was a power failure without having one).
If you tell me that it can still be a default I will measure the thermistor.
For the 2nd pobleme, I run a print and sometimes after heating the nozzle and the bed the print does not start I must make a reset and restart the print hoping that it starts

Hi,you can change an sd card to print, maybe the sd card read so slow.

May I ask if you succeeded to fix your problems?
I am encountering the exact same situation: printjob stops anytime, or even as your second point doesn't start after heating bed and nozzle.
I suspected an octoprint issue between the sever and the printer, but... did not find out to isolate the source.
Any update from your side?
Thanks!
Re: many problems
Hi, Are you printing with an sd card?
If you are using an sd card for printing,
you can try to print using the usb connection slicing software.
Perhaps the sd card reading problem / or the slicing error caused this to happen.

Re: many problems
Hi William,
I actualy do use both, SD and USB connection (with Octiprint).
It doesn't seem to be the card reader.
Beside, it was printing ok then suddenly the problem appeared. I do not suspect a slicing error as I got randomly similar issue with previously well printed gcode files.
Strange...

Re: many problems
Post your gcode copied from SD card.

Re: many problems
I'm an IT engineer, I would not suspect a problem about how to remove the SD card.
Beside, it would not bring a solid explanaition why the same issue occurs with Octoprint, where no SD card exchange is involved.
Also, to avoid misunderstanding, I obviously tried different SD cards to isolate a possible corrupted one. This is not the case.

Re: many problems
Hi, If you are referring to this situation happening randomly,
it may be caused by a problem with the chip on the motherboard.
It may be necessary to replace the motherboard.
