Printer just dont want to start :(

Post by mongini12 » Tue Apr 16, 2019 7:12 pm

Hi guys.

my A10 arrived and i've put it together
but the display wont turn on, and the printer wont be recognized by windows or Cura...
The Power Cable seems to be fine (both ends) and the display ribbon cable is placed exactly like on the mainboard (flat, blue facing away form PCB)

any ideas whats going on here? :|

I think you need to check the motherboard fuse is ok or burned.
You can use the multimeter to check it.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

Hi,
funnily enough i have the same issue... it arrived yesterday.. assembled it today. nothing on the lcd display. power supply fan is spinning. forgot my multimeter so didn't check voltages yet. i can see red led on the main board. again nothing on windows or mac os. no motors moving. bought this as a test printer to see if it could be used by students...

any suggestions helpful.. bar hopefully not sending it back!

If you are like me, you probably were in a hurry and forgot to switch the PSU from 220v to 110v (slide switch on side of power supply). Nothing at all works in the US until that switch is flicked, then printer fires right up, lol.
