A10 Motherboard Upgrade

Are there any motherboards that are more or less drop in compatible with the GT2560 v3? I've gone through 3 gt2560 v3 boards all of which were either DOA or died after very minimal use. The quality control of these boards seems to be very bad. Has anyone successfully upgraded their motherboard to something more well made? Possibly with better features?

I'm a software developer of 25 years, so I'm not scared by the firmware. Any recommendations about a GREAT replacement board? I was hoping to find a board that wouldn't require me to completely rewire my printer (probably not an option),
