Probing position trouble after firmware update

Post by Alexsolid » Thu Mar 21, 2019 6:27 pm

After I have upgraded my A30 printer, the probing position of the proximity sensor is on a different place.
I tried to edit the position with g commands. Didn't work
I hope you can help me.
Beste regards

Hi,
You need to tell us your firmware version+hardware version.
You can try to set the default factory then test it again.
1.Select the NPN sensor mode
2.Adjust the NPN sensor(The detect distance)
3.Homing X/Y/Z(The nozzle should stop at the middle of the hotbed)
4.Set the Z offset for the nozzle then save it
5. Restart the printer and test it.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.

Thank you Wiliam for your quick respons.
I try to ad 2 Pictures to show you my problem. the printer thinks the position of the NPN senosr is in the Front of the Printhead. But in my version the Sensor is locatet on the left site of the Printhead (see Picture).
Firmware version is V1.37.57
Hardware version v3.5

Hey, does anyone have a solution for my problem?
I'm so sad that my printer does not work :|
It's my second printer from geeetech. :D
But the firmware for the A30 is not open source so I can't change the position of the proximity sensor to the right place

I have the A30 (Hardware is V2.0+Fw is 1.38.59).
I use the NPN sensor for it and it works normally.

This is my problem,
I have the hardware version 3.5 in your version is the NPN sensor in the front of the print head. In the version 3.5 is the sensor located on the left side of the print head.
How can I change the coordination of the proximity sensor sensor?

It seems your printer hardware version incorrect.
Then the firmware can't work normally.
You can send this gcode via Smartto toolkit:
"M2009 V3.0"

I tried to do this.
It does not affect the the position in the printer.
How can i change the x/y offset from the NPN sensor to the extruder with g-command?

Sorry,it is not support.
But I have a question:Why don't you talk about the print quality but the NPN homing stop point.
The stop point seems not to effect the print quality.
