Power supply fuse

Post by Plasticator » Sat Mar 30, 2019 5:25 am

Hi, can anyone tell me what amperage the 250v fast blow fuse is on the A10 printer, it's the glass fuse in the black plastic holder inbetween where the pc style power lead plugs in on the power supply and the illuminated power switch.
Mine has blown and it's distorted the embossing on the metal part of the fuse to the extent I cannot read it, it looks like it may be 10A but I want to be sure I get the right one to replace it.
(the power supply also blew out which is what killed this fuse in the first instance, I have just received a replacement psu from geeetech but it was just the supply and was not supplied with the black plastic shroud, I don't want the new psu to die so obviously need to install the right fuse)

Many thanks in advance

Doug.

Hi vert, that thread (I have read it already) appears to refer to a fuse on the control board within the printer, I am asking about the external fuse on the psu shroud next to the illuminated rocker switch which you use to turn the printer on.

Regards

It's the fuse that goes where the red arrow is pointing in pic

Hello.

If you find the nameplate (sticker with specifications) of the PSU you will read all important parameters.

You can also include a photo here. :D

The FUSE of it is the 250V 10A type.
You can replace it with the new.
