A10M Levelling problems

Post by SirGadgetBoy » Mon Feb 18, 2019 9:00 pm

Hi. I'm having problems getting my A10M bed levelled.

I run the procedure as follows. Home the print head. Run "level corners" and keep adjusting each corner in turn until I can check all 4 corners without having to adjust them.

The problem is if I Home the print head again and level corners they're all off again sometimes by quite significant amounts.

What am I missing? Is something loose somewhere?

Hi, I am having the same problem, level all corners over and over but as soon as it homes before printing it moves up from the bed!! The only Z offset is the default one in the machine settings in Cura. One thing I have noticed though is that when I move the z up high and manually press the stop switch on the way down it takes a while to stop! Is there a way to check the stop switch just in case that is an issue. I have had this a week now and getting fed up as not had a print off it yet. I have a different brand printer and it works great but really want to get this dual one working. Sorry for hijacking your post SirGadgetBoy but I didn't know how to start a new one of my own and you seem to have pretty much the same problem so its not just me being thick.

The printer will saving the only 1 point level offset.
If you did it 2 or 3 times,it will save the last one offset setting.
Pls be care about it.

Could you attach the info of your firmware version?
I think you can attach the vid link and I will try to feedback it to Getech firmware engineer.

How can the machine save anything? It's a thumbscrew adjustment?

I think it's much more like the problems are to do with the following ....

We've checked it.I think the loose screw is the problem, you can use the wrench tight it.

Thank you. I'm going to thoroughly check Z-axis carrier assemblies.

I had a likewise problem: with the Firmware that came pre-installed, all corners could be leveled but still when starting to print, the distance between nozzle and bed wasn't right anymore.
With a 1.19 firmware came more options for manual bed level adjustment. That made my printer work fine! Except from sporadic "jump lines" caused by the slight instability of the print head carriage on the right side. With thin printed parts, that causes these parts to be easily breakable. I've adjusted and tightened the screws, it works a little better for a while as long as the print speed stays tuned below 50%.
