Hello, 1st time here so please forget my mistakes. Don't even know if I am in the correct place. Anyhow...
I have been happily printing for two or three months now with my new A10 printer. Decided to by the 3d touch to help out leveling my bed and easily mounted it and updated the firmware as requested.
Unfortunately I am having a hard time trying to level the bed as i get continuous different readings and every time I print I need to level the bed again.
I have therefore used the G30 command 5 times in a sequence and got the following results:
1. Bed z= +0.05 with z= 8.01
2. Bed z= -0.06 with z= 7.88
3. Bed z= +0.02 with z= 7.94
4. Bed z= -0.04 with z= 7.91
5. Bed z= -0.02 with z= 7.94
Seems to me there is something strange going on...
In particular test n.3 and n. 5 with the Bed z going from +0.02 to -0.02 but z remaining 7.94 make me think the 3d touch is not working properly.
Can someone confirm this or let me know if there is something I am missing?
Thank you very much in advance.
3d touch testing with g30 command strange results
Re: 3d touch testing with g30 command strange results
I normally use G29 command for bed leveling.

I received this from geeetech.... just sharing. As u can see in the picture tech support has been helping me out very responsively and positively. Tony at geeetech has been great
Since then I use G29 as was told in response before me as well
Hi Joshua,
Our tech said the code g30 is reprap code, while the firmware of a10m is based on marlin codes.
you should you the code: M851 and set the value as 100. This value will be out of z offset range. Then you should get a return value which indicates the true z offset value. You will know whether z offset value changes.
if possible could you contact me via massenger? There will be more convenient to send pictures, videos etc.
