short-circuited my fan on GT2560 V3.0

Hi Chris,

I just short-circuited my fan, I was trying to understand the direction of rotation and I ended up touching where I shouldn't.
The fan still works, I plugged it into the extruder fan plug and it was all right.

Would you have any idea how I can fix this? I just saw that it could be the mosfet, so I'll see if it's burned or not.

If so, is it just a change?

Replacing a defective transistor should solve the fault.

Look on ebay or from your local electronics supplier. At large wholesalers you will be able to buy large quantities.
I found 10 pieces for $4. (eBay)

Hi, sorry there was not so much time in the past to look into this forum. Maybe it can help with buying an alternative MOSFET:

To solve my fan problems i already tried to change the MOSFET Q2 (but that wasn´t my problem ). Because the original AP2306AGN is difficult to buy i took a IRLML6344TRPBF which works very well (nearly same specs like the AP2306AGN). There is not much space to re-solder the Q2....i used tweezers and a thin soldering tip.
