Hello,
I just purchased the A10 and have nothing but troubles with it. Seems like every step there is an issue. I am currently trying to Auto Home the printer so I can level the bed but every time I hit Auto Home the X & Y axis' do as they should but the Z-axis will go to the home position but then move up 10mm and stop. It never drops back down to the bed. If I hit Auto Home again then the X & Y axis' move 10mm and then back to their positions but the Z-axis will just move up another 10mm and stop. The nozzle is now 20mm off the bed. And every time I Auto Home and it move up another 10mm that is the new Home position. Meaning the Z-axis is zeroed out on the Info screen.
Also if I turn on the printer and go to Move Axis and move the Z-axis up and then back it off and try to move it back down it will not move down. BUT if I click Auto Home and then click Level Corners, I can then go into Move Axis and move the Z-axis up and back down. I can ONLY do this if I click the Level Corners first. this seems odd to me.
The instructions are crap so they offer no help. Do I just not understand what Auto Home is supposed to do? Or is this a problem? I have gone of over all the lugs multiple times and everything is plugged in and tight.
I am running Marlin 1.1.8.
Thanks

Re: Z-axis only goes up when Auto Home
Nevermind! I finally figured it out. Just in case someone else has this issue I will explain what caused it. When I originally put the printer together I installed the 3D Touch sensor for auto bed leveling but I didn't realize I needed to flash the software in order to use it. I decided to first setup the printer and get my test print out of the way. I did not know that I needed to unplug all the wires to the 3D Touch sensor. Once I did that then the Z-axis worked correctly. My Bad!

Thank you for the reply. I did the same thing. Installed the touch and then figured I would level manually and do the first print only to have the same problems you did. Thank you for posting the follow-up reply, it saved me a lot of time.
