Newbie with the A10n Dual

Post by lenkiely » Sun Dec 23, 2018 8:05 am

I have had this printer for 1 day now, Not frustrating, more excited and liking the challange of learning, this is my very first 3d printer and no of nobody with one.
So far, after 4 failed attempts of printing, i found that after leveling, I start the print, then I adjust the height slightly while print is in process, atm I am printing the lizzard and all looks great so far.
I downloaded easypint and installed, I cannot find my printer listed, any help there would be most appreciated.
As for the nozzle leakage, I preheat the head first, the leakage does stop, also fixes the blockage in the same manner.
I have not found any issues with my new toy, sure I got problems with it but, It all comes down to user, adjust and test, adjust and test, adjust and test and so on, which I dont mind at all, it is really making me getting to know my machine better.
I have been getting problems with my print moving a 3rd of the way through the print, i think it it just height adjustment, still playing with that.
so far, no complaints.
is it worth putting an auto leveler on? if so, are they easy to install for a complete novice?
I love this forum, all you members are very helpful.
Any suggestions on ease print would be helpful.
Cheers all

Hello lenkiely.

I suggest that you first mastered the printer and only then you buy accessories.
It will be easier for you to master it all. At this stage, when you start your adventure, the installation and commissioning of the automatic levelling sensor may cause a few difficulties.

When you get to know the machine it will be easier for you.
That's what I think.
;)

Users praise the firmware prepared by a colleague vert.
Take a look at this long topic.
Perhaps it will be easier for you later on.
But you will have to master the art of uploading firmware.

Thanks for that.
Every time I am nearly finished printing any of the blizzard, dog or cone, the object always moves, is this normal.

Hi.

If your model is detached from the substrate during printing, it is not good. Printing will not finish properly. :(

You can use hairspray to increase adhesion. Or other special products for 3D printing.
