WiFi module does not connect to my router

Post by francko76 » Sat Dec 22, 2018 4:48 am

I have a WiFi module 1811203
I pin the module and I can connect to gt access point created
I send my router ssid with PSA/PSA2 password
I see ap is 192.168.2.1, phone is x.x.2.2
But the module does not connect... WiFi led blink...
I tried to make my router opened without password, but no luck...

What I miss?
Thanks

Hello.

There are very specific requirements for the password.
Maybe there is a problem here.

I think I can store my personal router settings via PC too...
192.168.4.1:.....

Can someone help me or have I to request to refund money from Amazon?

;)

I will ask differently ...
Tell us how your local network password is built and whether it meets the requirements of the EasyPrint program.

Hi.

And with this configuration, the module does not get a connection to your local wireless network :?:

Know what :?:
Try changing the SSID of your network to: "Non-si-scrocca".
Just don't use a space character in your wireless network name.

Configurations must be changed in your access point. ;)

That were my first attempt,
removing spaces and removing password...

after saving the configuration, the wifi led start blinking slowly...... searching for a connection...

on which ports does the AP works? can I access via http, telnet, ftp, something else?

;)

One explanation.
When I wrote Access Point I meant your access device. E.g. your home router with integrated AP.
At this stage it has nothing to do with 3DWiFi module.

I suggest that you set your wireless network name (SSID) to "test" and your access password to "one2three4". ;)
Connect your mobile device (smartphone tablet etc.) to the wireless network you have configured.
In the next step, reset the 3dWiFi module, connect to it with your mobile device from the Android application.

Enter a new WLAN configuration (SSID -> test, passwd -> one2three4).

The configuration will be sent to the 3DWiFi module and an attempt will be made to connect to the wireless home network.
Your router must have access to the Internet.

Let us know about the progress.
;)

At some stage you can call up a connection to the 3DWiFi module in your web browser. If I remember correctly when the module works in AP mode, that is before connecting to your home WiFi network.

Ok, maybe the issue is somewhere or maybe module didn't connect...
I changed my WiFi ssid and pass as you suggested...
I connected on that with my phone
Then I pinned the hole of WiFi module
It goes in AP mode
I connect to Gt_printer AP WiFi
Then I launched easyprint 3d app and sent ssid and password to module

It stopped to blink fastly and started to blink normal...

And it still blink....

But....
I noticed another thing...
If I try to connect to easyprint 3d account with my WiFi it says 'server fail'....

But if I use mobile data on phone I can access to geeetech servers...

Maybe some natted port? TCP/UDP....
What kind of conenction is? Which ports?

;)

The module requires a connection to its server at the GT headquarters in order to register.
If this server does not work for some reason, we have to wait for this defect to be repaired.

I suggests that you report the problem to email address:
