Hi guys!
I recently purchased a GEEETECH E180, the last model I think. The first problem (dragging the PLA wire), I solved it by replacing the original plastic drive unit in a metal one, definitely performing.
Unfortunately, the extruder was obstructed, so I replaced it..existing the whole extruder group piece by piece (I had not seen it was so easy to unhook the nozzle only)!
Result: now the temperature marks "0", since the thermocouple has a disconnected cable. I will save it to the circuit but I am not sure that the thermocouple will adhere perfectly to the nozzle. Does Geeetech have complete extruder groups to sell or alternatively are there other adaptable ones?
Thanks bye

Re: E180 : Various changes and ..problem!
I guess Geeetech is not really interessted in our problems and questions will not be answered?
What causes the 0.Temp reading on the nozzle and how can we fix it?
do you have the board with the 4 contacts, where the nozzle gets its contacts when engaged?
Thanks

Hi, thanks for your feedback, you can try
- Check if the wiring is correct;
- Unplug the extruder and see how the temperature is displayed;
- Check if the thermistor is fully connected.
-Keep your mind and try to test it.

Hi, You can check if your extruder is fully connected,
Then unplug the extruder wiring to see how much the temperature shows,
and determine if there is a problem with the motherboard.
