PLA dont stick to the super bed anymore...

Post by WhippingBoy » Thu Nov 29, 2018 3:48 pm

Dear all.

I bought the newvest version of A10 rev 3 with super bed (glass bed with something on it)
But now after a few prints, gcode I have had succes printing before won't sitck with first layer...

printing with geetech PLA white temp of 200-215 bed 50-65 is tried. speed down to 60-20mm

I tried leveling the bed several times, the a10 dog prints but first layer is not as smooth and dont stick as good as it used to.

so my conclusion is that I need to clean the bed with something else than just my hand ;-)
Any idea how to do that and with what?
acetone? isopropyl alcohol? what do you guys use ofr your super bed?

I had accident affter a print where i hit the auto home button an teh extruder went down in the print and stuck pushing down on the bed.
I dont think anything happned but my print was damaged, did the bed level again and printeded the a10 dog as mentioned above.

Yes isopropyl aclohol works great. Rub it good with a lint-free towell. The glass material is the same as the Ultrabase and the Creality glass plate - it's pretty reliable unless you scratch the #$%@ out of it :) Prints should stick very well if your z-height is correct.

Hi.

You can believe me a word that this construction solves many problems.
Many of which you may never experience, but not all of them.

Hi
:D

Is this a Geeetech white PLA filament?
If so, I suggest to help with the use of some glue.
Yesterday, someone else also had problems with grip.

Apparently this filament is very specific. ;)

Hi

Bad is wrongly said, simply specific.

Read this thread.
And especially the conversation from the link given by a colleague. ;)

Dear _kaktus_
But I have set the filament feeding to 130% (with a layer thickness of 0.2mm).
It seems like slic3r itssetting it to 200% by default.

so you want me to minimize it?
