DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT
DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT
Could someone explain why in some Geeetech firmware the DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT for the A10 changes from 80 , 80 ( x y) to 80.3 , 80.8 .
Re: DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT
The default 80 is not a standard value, you should recalibrate

Re: DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT
Thanks for quick reply, starting to sort things out, did not have much luck with some of the firmware I downloaded, one 1.1.19 version gave me a lot of lay shifting, also the different controllers don't help, ended up downloading 1.1.9 from marlin and building my own.

Layer shift:
I think you should check these
1.The jerk of X/Y axis
2.The travel speed(No more than 120mm/s)
3.Check the vref of the A4988
