Hi. I'm a 3d printing noob
Its my first time building this i3 Pro Wood and I dont know what to do next. I just finished assembling the entire thing and I couldn't get the LCD to turn on. There is power in the board and the lights turn on how ever the LCD doesn't light up or make sound. I have checked the wiring and swap places the LCD cables but nothing. I haven plugged it in to a computer or put in the SD Card.
Whats the next step? I dont know anything about firmware and things to put to SD card.
Can you please point me to the right direction as I dont know what to do now.

Re: What to do next-Clueless
Most likely the SD card cable and LCD cable are reversed.
If swap them doesn't help, try to re-burn the firmware:

You can also unplug all the other wires--except the power and LCD cable to check what it shows.

Definitely check what Gingko suggested with the ribbon cable.
Are you able to connect via USB ? Are you able to run control the printer using Easyprint ? Make sure you set the correct baud rate 250000 and com port and then click connect.
You should be able to control movements using the Easyprint software as test.
