Repetier Host print preview not in sync
Repetier Host print preview not in sync
Hi
I've just built a i3 Pro B and everything seems operational
All motors move in correct directions
All endstops work
Homing all axes sends them home
BUT
When I load a project into Repetier despite centring it using the centre button and it appearing to be in the centre of the field it starts printing at Y = 0 and it appears to be trying to print correctly but I lose half the print because the endstop stops it moving further back (as it should)
Any ideas how I fix this lack of synchronisation between the print preview and the printer?
(The X and Z axis appear to be perfectly fine)

Re: Repetier Host print preview not in sync
Have you checked the voltage of A4988 of Y axis? Maybe it's a little low, up to 1.0V to have a try.
if no help, swap the A4988 and reburn the firmware.
and you can test the .gco file from attachment.

Tried playing with bed front and setting endstop to Y max last night but to no avail so I'll try this.
Many thanks

The prob test print almost worked but as the y axis tries to live back toward the origin it "judders"
(no issues forward)
Complete novice here but could it be a belt tension issue?
(I don't have a meter to test amps, volts etc., sorry)

Yes, you can check the tightness of Y-axis, loosen it a little to have a try
or swap the driver(A4988) and see if the Y-axis can move normally or not.
