Apologies - I am a total noob to this 3D printing thing.
We have built a Geeetech Prusa I3 B and have calibrated it according to the Geeetech instructions for calibration through Repetier Host.
I have attached a photo of the output from our first print job which is intended to be a hex nut.
The problem, as can be seen from the photo, there's a lot of gaps in the outer walls of the print - it's almost as if this has been printed in "draft" to save filament.
I am cheered by the straightness of the walls etc. but there are a huge amount of settings that might be affecting this and I am too early in my understanding to guess as to which setting it might be at fault.
If anyone can tell me why this might be happening then I would appreciate it greatly ?

Hi Ben.
Have you already done calibrations? including extruder calibration?
What is your set value for the fill (Infill density)?
And an important thing, the temperature for the filament. Of course during printing.

I figured out the under-extrusion issue and am getting some much better results now.
I may have other issues though, and will post when I work out what's going on,.
