G2S Hot End Fan Not Working

Hi I have built a G2S Pro Delta Printer and although all the other parts work the fan mounted on the hot end platform does not turn on. I have wired it exactly as shown in the build instructions and the firmware is the Marlin downloaded from the Geeetech site. the board is a GT2560 set up as an Ultimaker board, code 7 in the configuration h file
Has anybody else had this problem and can it be sorted?
Any suggestions would be welcomed.
