I've tried updating the firmware via EasyPrint, but the process appears to be stuck.
Here's a screenshot where I started a firmware update 30minutes previously https://photos.app.goo.gl/Vn44mKICt88kA2S73

Re: Problem with PI3 Pro A stalling/stopping
Turn off the Easyprint and restart it with the new USB port.
-Keep your mind and try to test it.

Re: Problem with PI3 Pro A stalling/stopping
I couldn't get the EasyPrint firmware update to work, but after weeks of trying different solutions (new SD cards, firmware updates via arduino IDE, etc....) I've finally fixed the problem.
I replaced the GT2560 board in the printer control box and haven't had any slow downs or printer halting/stalling since replacing the board. The USB stalls have also stopped and I'm now able to use a Raspberry Pi running OctoPrint to monitor and control the printer.
