Firmware request Prusa Mendel I3 with MK8 Extruder

Post by daniel_bauer » Fri Oct 09, 2015 5:00 am

Hello,
could you please send me the firmware for my Geetech Mendel Prusa I3 8mm Acrylic with .3mm nozzle?

I have a hard time finding the right steps per mm for all axis.

Thanks (in advance) for your help.

Is your printer type is I3 pro B or pro? and what's the board type?

It says geetech i3 at the top. And above the text there is a 2004 LCD screwed to the printer.

The controllerboard is a white GT.

Hi Mark,

I upload this firmware, but now I can't actualice the firmware and EasyPrint3D program show a window that said unknown device.

And the extruder flow isn't enough, the filament extruded is so thiny

How I can solve this issue?

There are some wrong in the extruder, specifically in the screw that pushes the filament which slides when pushing plastic because it does not have enough pressure.
The solution was as easy as putting a piece of paper in the extruder's spring, so that it becomes stronger and the filament does not slip when it passes through the screw.
