Please I need help !!!!!!
I have a Geeetech i3 Prusa pro B
It has been running well, but to day for some reason the X axes will only move towards end stop and will not change direction.
I have changed the end stop in the firmware but nothing changed at all.
Then I changed the motor direction in the firmware but still the motor only goes in against the end stop only.
Even when I use the LCD control it only moves the X axes one direction against the end stop.
Does anyone have any ideas as what could be wrong ??

Re: X-Axes motor only goes one direction
There are a few things you can do to narrow down the problem
1. Plug swap the driver from the Y, Z or extruder for the one in the X slot. This will tell you if the stepper driver is bad.
2. Swap motors, the stepper motor may be bad.
When you home the printer does the X motor back up after hitting the endstop?

Swapped motors and still there is no change
When you home the printer the X makes a noise like the belt is slipping for second but does not back up
