3D Touch Sensor:Auto-levelling for Geeetech 3D printer

Hello.

I' had an i3 Pro B for a while and added the BL-Touch. It was working fine. I had a problem with my hot bed which blew out that side of the power connector. Even so, I was able to print with a cold bed and the auto-level worked fine.

I purchases a replacement GT2560 and got the new A+ version instead of the A version. With the A+ board, when the power comes on the BL-Touch does its up/down self test 2 times and turns off instead of 3 times and leaves light on. Do I have a bad A+ board? Why would it do this. (It still works properly if I hook it to the old A version board).

Hi!

I have the 3D touch sensor working but I'm having leveling problems.


The two pieces have been printed at the same time but in different parts of the bed. The left one on the center and the right one at the right of the bed. I don't know what can be wrong, any ideas?

i have an Pro X ( GT2560 RevA+ Board )with Firmware from the 1st page( + changes for the GT2650 Rev A+) + Setup like described on the wiki + mount for the sensor from the wiki. M280 Po S10 + S90 + S160 are working.

if i do G28 -> y,x work, then it goes to the middel and z is going up 3mm, G29 -> the head is moving y + x correct , but z is going up !!!

than i changed the polarity of z-max connection( white - black)

G28 y,x work,then it goes to the middel and z is going down -> sensor touches -> going up again but z is going down further until it( nozzel) is touching the bed.


How to debug this behavior ? Some hint's ?

Because I have the same problem the Z axis goes up instead of down ...

Here is a second video or I reverse the direction of the z axis,
So, the z axis goes down well, but another problem, it goes down a can,
Takes out the pine of the sensor, and returns it again ....

While the sensor has to go down I hit the plate touch for the auto home, no ?

In addition, I find myself with the direction Z reverse in the repeater software
And I can not mount the Z axis via the software

g28 homes correctly and I set the offset appropriately via the LCD and save. When I go to z0 all is great with the right amount of bed clearance.

g29 appears to check each of the four corners correctly, however z0 will then always be off by about 0.5 too close to the bed effectively touching the bed.

So frustrating, I originally modded the firmware and have now tried the already modded firmware on the first post both with exactly the same result.

Any ideas? I am about to remove my 3D Touch and go back to the manual way.

Hi, this happened to me as a bad connection of the pins, the behavior was the same as your first video. Check your wiring and test again (don't invert the z axis direction, I don't think is the problem).

Yes, I have.

The gap changes to a too low level after doing a G29.

So the level is perfect after a G28 then G1 Z0, but a soon as I G29 it appears to be too low when executing a G1 Z0.
