Re: Firmware Error
Hi Guys
I am still haveing trouble with the firmware
Can someone please send me or point me to a copy i can just load it up
Im vwery new at this programing stuff and I cant seem to get it right
I have downloaded the firmware for the GEEETECH Prusa I3 Pro B
but it seems to have an error and i cant figure out what or how to stop this error
Please help the printer was working ok when i put it together just had a problem with heat bed not getting up to max temp which is why i thought i would try firmware update I installed the wrong 1 at first and have since tried to install the correct 1 for my printer with no luck, I really need a step by step for my particular printer as ive tried the current instructions and have had no luck

Re: Firmware Error
From what you said, i think it is not caused by the firmware.Master Chris wrote:Hi Guys

Maybe the board has some issue.
Can you take a picture show the issue?

Re: Firmware Error
Hi,I think you can reinstall the lastest version of Repetier Host to try again, and here is the download link:https://www.repetier.com/download-now/.Besides,changing the usb cable may make it work by Repeiter.
As to the SD printing, here are some tips for this case:
1、Use repetier to put files on SD-card and the G-codes have been also in root directory of SD-card.
2、Check your lcd and cable, make sure they have a good connetion.
3、Try to use some high end SD cards.
4、Reinstall the FTDI drivers.
Hope this can help.

Re: Firmware Error
Change the USB cable. Try to use a good quality one and as short as possible. I had some similar issues...it was stopping in the middle of the print showing that communication error. The problem was the cable which was too long.
