Extruder does not reach the desired temperature

Hi,

i have a Prusa i3 b pro.
Some weeks ago i have problems with my power supply and my plug on the supply and board are a little bit melted and the board was over.
So i get a new board and powersupplie. But now i have a GT2560 Rev a+ instead of the original GT2560 Rev a.

The board was without firmware so i downloaded this one from this forum for the prusa i3 b pro (i didn't see any special firmware for the rev a+).
i uploaded the firmware 1:1 on the board. so all works well.

I setup all cables and want to start a testprint but with this new setup i have problems with the heating of my extruder.
so i setup the destination temperature of 200° and the printer stops before 140°... I have a screenshot appended where you can see the result with the max temp of 200°.

What is the problem? Did i need a special firmware or settings for the Rev a+ Board? Or what can it be?
I also checked the voltage switch of the new power supply it is set correctly to 220V... this is what i needed.

i also checked the voltage on the extruder pins... it is 11.7V so it looks good for me.

It is hard to say... i tested a new powersupplie and the result is the same.
All leds on the boards looks good.
i checked the resitors in the Cartridge and there i get a result of 5ohm.
so i ordered now a new one... i give a reply with the result =)

11.7V at the terminal block of the board could be the issue (could be). Not getting past 140C does seem odd.

The power supply that are included with these printers have a voltage adjustment inside the power supply. I cranked mine up to about 13.2V to improve the hotbed heating times, mine took 'forever' to heat to 90C and after the adjustment the bed gets to 90C in less than 5 minutes. You have to open the power supply and there is a small trim pot near the terminal block of the power supply. Put a DVM on the 12V output and adjust up and see if your print head gets past 140C. If it doesn't then there are other issues. Look to see the thermistor is solidly attached to the head.

When you say the printer stop before 140°C do you mean you have an error message on the screen ? if it's the case, you must modify the firmware before upload it on the board!
