NiklasO,

I was just curious what changes are in the latest update you made compared to early March besides the DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT and define DEFAULT_MAX_FEEDRATE changes you mentioned before? Trying to see if it's worth doing an update.

Thanks for your work on this. It's very useful :)

hi NiklasO, when I upload your firmware, LCD control unit of my Geeetech prusa I3 A Pro 3 in 1 disappear. I must change something in configuration.h?
Thanks!

SOLVED:

In configuration.h I disabled:

#define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER

and enabled:

#define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER

Thanks!

Hello,
Recently installed a 3d touch followed all instructions on this page.
Finally got it all working.
But....
When i send a print it goes and checks bed level in 16 spots like its ment to, then it prints.
When it prints, it prints on an uneven bed, there is the right amount of plastic on one side of bed and very little on the other side.
I know i could level my bed but thats the whole point of this sensor.

Any ideas ?

Hello,

the first thing you could do is to use a bubble level for a good bed settings.
after you could check if the space between each Z axis motor and the couplers are the same.you can use a caliper and manually move the engine when the printer is power off !

Maybe you already do that ? I don't know.

After I already that the same problem, and yesterday the problem is gone, because I change the nozzle with a new one on my prusa I3 pro B.
The new nozzle is better quality, i bought 5 nozzle of 0.3mm for 1.75 wire at 9.90€

Othersise you need to set the offset but this part is strange because i notice that the real offset for me is not correct so I try each step and I found the correct settings, for me it's M851 Z-1.0
I hope this could help you.

Sorry, been away for some time. New version of Marlin (stable) out. I have updated my configs that I use but not the "generic" one posted here yet. Will come soon.

I have the 1.1 bugfix running on both my printers (the other one is not Geeetech).
I will post the config asap. Just need to remove my own stuff. ;)
