3DTouch auto level connect to pro c GT2560

Post by Marc71 » Mon Feb 27, 2017 3:43 am

Hi

I am trying to follow instructions on how to connect the 3DTouch to the board of the geeetech pro c GT 2560.

Everywhere it say to connect the 3 pin connector to the z-max ( the board have only 2 pins on z max :) )

anyone done that already ?

You will need to unsolder the 2 pin connector and solder in the 3 pin terminal block included with the 3D touch. There are actually 3 holes under that 2 pin connector.

Someone mentioned there may be a way around having to do this, but I've never seen the instructions on how to do it.

Oh Darn

I will not do this i will probably damage the board.

If someone know a way that it could be done without soldering, it would be amazing.

Thank you

Ah, there's a new version of the board out in the store. It must have come out after I ordered my Pro c last fall.
