Re: My extruder is webbing
Hi,
Did you set the retraction in your slicer settings?
You can try increasing this value to take a look.

Re: My extruder is webbing
Could be too much heat. What is your extruder temperature set to? Also, check to make sure that the thermistor is completely in the heat block and none of it is sticking out.
Re: My extruder is webbing
I am using PLA and its running about 229c for the temp. The thermistor is as you say, it is sitting directly in the middle. Seems when i turn the heat down much lower i start having feed issues. Pics attached of the thermistor and how it sits in the extruder head.

Re: My extruder is webbing
That's high for PLA. Your feed issues at lower temps are the real problem.
Re: My extruder is webbing
Any suggestion on what to try? I have made the adjustments made on the forums to the xtruder but not sure it has made much difference
Re: My extruder is webbing
I guess the temperature too high...
The highest temp i used on PLA is 220c,and you'd better keep it at the range of 190~210c i think.

Re: My extruder is webbing
Does your extruder have the metal parts (lever, etc) or plastic?
Re: My extruder is webbing
its the plastic one, i just purchased the aluminum ne but have not installed it yet.
Re: My extruder is webbing
attached is another couple pics of my webbing issues. I have included a shot of the screen display to show how it was setup during the part run. Even with the temp turned down and a fan blowing on the filament hot end i still get the webbing. Please help if you can. thx
